TSBA's Administration Department conducts a conference each year designed for school system personnel that provide administrative support to the board of education and/or the superintendent. Attendees benefit by gaining educational content and experiences from networking with their peers. Topics include board minutes, board agendas, handling board communications, legislative, policy and legal updates and working with TSBA.

REGISTRATION:

The registration fee for this event is $90. Registrations must be received by April 23rd. A $20 cancellation fee will be assessed on cancelled registrations prior to the above date. Any cancellations received on or after April 24, 2008, will not be refunded.

Hotel Information:

To make hotel reservations for the Board Secretaries’ Conference you may do one of the following:

Telephone: call the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel at (800) 457-4460 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A block of rooms is reserved for the night of Thursday, May 1. Please ask for the Tennessee School Boards Association Board Secretaries’ Conference group rate of $107. This rate applies only to single or
double occupancy and is subject to tax. The reservation deadline is 5:00 p.m. (central time) on April 10.
